GTA RP Week's Drops Close Tonight — and the Invite Wall Is Still Up

GTA RP Week's Twitch Drops campaign ends September 30 while the nopixel V beta stays invite-only, so here is what the last night still pays out and where GTA V roleplay is actually playable now.

GTA RP Week ends today. Rockstar's own Twitch Drops page states the window as plainly as it can: earn "up to GTA$1.5M and the Burger Shot Tracksuit" in GTA Online by watching nopixel V during GTA RP Week, "from September 8–30." Today is the 30th. After tonight the ladder is gone — and with it the only part of Rockstar's first-party roleplay push that most GTA V players were ever allowed near.

That is the last three weeks in one sentence. Rockstar put its name on a roleplay server, put that server on Twitch, and kept the door shut behind it.

What the campaign actually paid out

GTA RP Week is not new. Twitch and Rockstar first ran it in 2023 to mark Rockstar's official partnership with Cfx.re, the team behind FiveM, and this year's edition was rebuilt around one server. Twitch's September 3 announcement framed the week as a celebration of "the launch of nopixel V," naming streamers including koil and buddha, and offering three new emotes and chat badges alongside the in-game cash.

The fine print matters if you are trying to squeeze the last value out of tonight. According to gtarpserver's breakdown of the campaign, the event spans the full 23 days from September 8 to 30, and six hours of watch time clears the entire GTA$1,500,000 ladder. The in-game Drops specifically require a nopixel V stream; the emotes, badges and cheermotes do not. If the tracksuit is all you are after, the streams that count are the ones playing the new server — and they count until the campaign closes.

You could watch it. You almost certainly could not play it

nopixel V entered closed beta on September 8, delivered through the Rockstar Games Launcher rather than any third-party client, and two weeks later nothing had changed about who gets in. hone.gg checked NoPixel's official roster on September 18 and stated it flatly: "NoPixel V is invite-only," with invited players routed through the Launcher. gtaintel's guide to the Twitch campaign put the same thing to a wider audience — "You almost certainly did not get a nopixel V beta invite, but you can still cash in."

That gap is the real story of GTA RP Week 2026: a Rockstar-backed roleplay server watched by a very large audience, played by a hand-picked one.

If you want the public face of that same name, the directory tracks NoPixel Public — "the public version of the world's most famous RP server," sitting at VIP_3 with the highest trust score in the GTA V section at 31. It is also the single most in-demand listing here right now, trending at rank 1 with a score of 10.88, nearly double the next server on that board.

The platform question is settled. The tooling is not.

Context you need to read the rest of this correctly: FiveM is now the only authorized GTA V roleplay platform left, after alt:V closed in July and RAGE:MP went dark on August 31 following Take-Two's cease-and-desist.

The ecosystem is not sitting still, though. Cfx published its Community Spotlight for September in the last day, focused this month on maps and landscapes, and announcing that a new wave of creators has joined the Cfx Marketplace. Whatever the headline energy around nopixel V, the maps, scripts and resources that actually run day-to-day FiveM roleplay keep shipping on FiveM.

Where everyone without an invite is playing

The directory lists 12 approved GTA V / FiveM servers, and all 12 are linkable — every name below has a live page. Here is what the top of that stack looks like, and what each one is actually for.

ServerBuilt forTrustTier
NoPixel PublicSerious RP, whitelist31VIP_3
Grand RPLight RP, economy, multiple language servers29VIP_2
RSM FreeroamFreeroam, racing, thousands of custom vehicles28VIP_2
Eclipse RPSerious RP, economy, story-focused28VIP_2
Transport TycoonEconomy, logistics and trucking simulation28VIP_1
BadlandsRPWhitelist, serious, long-form character stories28VIP_1
New Day RPSerious RP, whitelist, staff-driven economy28VIP_1
TwitchRPStory-driven, streamer-facing, whitelist28VIP_1

Read that table as three decisions, because that is what it actually is.

Whitelist or open? NoPixel Public, BadlandsRP, New Day RP and TwitchRP all carry a whitelist flag — you apply, you wait, you get a character. That friction is the product: it is what keeps the standard of playup. If you want to be in a city tonight rather than next month, look past those four.

Serious or light? Grand RP is explicitly light RP with an economy, and it runs multiple language servers — the most practical entry point here if you want structure without an application process. Eclipse RP and New Day RP are on the other end of the scale, both serious RP with economies, but with very different centres of gravity: Eclipse leans on public factions and quality-of-life systems, New Day on staff-run departments and events.

Roleplay or something else entirely? RSM Freeroam and Transport Tycoon are the two listings that are not really roleplay servers in the nopixel sense. RSM is the freeroam side of FiveM — racing, custom vehicles, no character sheet. Transport Tycoon is logistics and trucking as an economy sim. If GTA RP Week left you cold because you do not want to talk your way through a scene, these are where to look first.

What is moving this week

Trending movement is the closest thing this directory has to a live pulse, and the board this week reads:

NoPixel Public's position is no accident — it is the closest thing the public can get to the server on everyone's Twitch feed this month, and the demand tracks that exactly. The interesting entries are the two mid-table names: BlueBird RP and Lucid City are not in the top-ranked tier by trust score, but they are moving at rank 2 and rank 4, which is what a server looks like when it is gaining players rather than holding them.

What tonight changes, and what it does not

At midnight the Drops close and the GTA$1,500,000 and the Burger Shot Tracksuit stop being earnable. The invite wall does not move. nopixel V stays a closed beta on the Rockstar Games Launcher with no public access window announced, and the 12 servers above stay exactly as open as they are today.

The larger deadline is November 19, when GTA VI arrives as a single-player experience — Rockstar confirmed in June that the launch ships without an online component, and no PC version has been announced. However that shakes out, GTA V on FiveM remains the home of GTA roleplay for the foreseeable future, and it remains the only one you can walk into tonight.

About GTA V / FiveM Private Servers

GTA V roleplay servers run on platforms like FiveM, RageMP, and alt:V, transforming Grand Theft Auto V into a deeply immersive multiplayer roleplay experience. Players create persistent characters, choose careers ranging from police officer and paramedic to criminal and business owner, and interact in living virtual cities governed by community rules and custom scripts. Each platform has its strengths — FiveM boasts the largest server ecosystem and active developer community, while alt:V and RageMP offer different scripting environments and modding flexibility. When choosing a GTA V RP server, consider whether it uses a whitelist application process (indicating a serious roleplay environment), the size and activity of its community, the strictness of its rules, the quality of its custom jobs and economy systems, and whether the admin team enforces standards consistently. A well-run RP server creates experiences that rival any single-player game.
