How to Connect to GTA V / FiveM Private Servers

Install GTA V
Purchase and install GTA V through Steam, Epic Games Store, or the Rockstar Launcher. The base game is required for all multiplayer frameworks.
Download FiveM (or RageMP/alt:V)
Visit fivem.net and download the FiveM client. For RageMP or alt:V servers, download from their respective websites instead.
Install and launch
Run the FiveM installer. It will detect your GTA V installation automatically. Launch FiveM from the desktop shortcut.
Find and join a server
Use the built-in server browser to search by name, player count, or game mode. Alternatively, paste a direct connect URL (cfx.re/join/...) in the address bar.
Complete any required setup
