Aion 2's Next Wave Is Building Its Own PvP Server — Classic Aion Already Has One
A Portuguese-language Aion 2 channel is planning a PvP-focused mega-server on camera. The plan shows what the sequel's players want — and classic Aion private servers already run it.
Aion 2's Next Wave Is Already Building Its Own PvP Server
The title of this video is a plan, not a title. In AION 2: VAMOS MONTAR UM MEGA SERVIDOR FOCADO EM PVP, a Portuguese-language Aion 2 channel called Marco Veio works through the idea of a large-scale server built around player-versus-player content, and nearly 10,000 views followed in its first week.
When a sequel's community is this early in designing server architecture, it tells you what the next wave of players wants: one big population, PvP as the backbone, enough people to keep sieges and Abyss moving around the clock. That has always been Aion's identity — Elyos against Asmodians, factional warfare, the grind for supremacy. The private scene spent a decade making that bet, and this video is the sequel's players making the same bet for themselves.
Aion 2 private servers do not exist yet. Our Aion section lists no Aion 2 build. But classic Aion private servers already run the exact loop this plan targets, across versions from 2.7 to 7.x (Classic), with PvP, Abyss and siege flags as standard:
- HiveGamez Aion - Classic — a 7.x (Classic) build run as a fair-play PvP project with no pay-to-win.
- Beyond Aion 4.8 - since 2015 — up since 2015, PvP and PvE, no VIP, no gold packs, regular updates.
- United Aion 4.8 PvPvE Retail-like — a retail-style 4.8 experience with its own rates.
- Beritra 4.7.5 — a direct Elyos-versus-Asmodian battlefield.
Watch the video for how the next generation plans its home. Then make the same decision its crew is about to: wait for the new world, or log into the old one and take the fight tonight.
