The cash-bonus server is where CS2 actually lives
TheBurntPeanut went live on September 15 from Wardogs, a CS2 community server running a cash bonus, with Strike Team, Nut, and Gimmick x Cloakzy in the lobby and the #Bungulate tag on top. Ten days in, it has passed a million views. Watch the stream.
The stream is the entertainment. The signal is the part of CS2 that Valve's stats don't count: the community server is where the players who make content actually play. Official competitive is a queue you get stuck in. A cash-bonus lobby is a party everyone shows up to, and it stays that way until the money runs out.
Those lobbies come and go, and you can't click a YouTube video to get a seat in one. The stable half of the scene is what this site links. If the video made you want a server of your own instead of a spectator feed:
- WarmupServer — low-pressure deathmatch and aim practice, for warming up hands before you queue.
- Xplay.gg — deathmatch, retake, and competitive, wrapped in a skin changer, challenges, and a battle pass.
- BrutalCS — the oldest and most respected Nordic community servers; competitive, retake, and deathmatch without the noise.
- Edan — a decade in, still running Retake and Competitive with HNS, AutoHop, old maps, and its own DEFENDER anti-cheat.
- Cybershoke — if you'd rather surf than aim, over 3,800 servers with custom matches, leaderboards, and missions.
- KSF Clan — the benchmark for surf records.
- PlagueFest and GFLClan — zombie escape, for the nights you want the map to bite back.
CS2 has more surface than most people ever play, split between the official modes and the community servers around them. The cash-bonus stream gets the click; the server gets the hours. Browse the full Counter-Strike 2 section for everything else we track.
